Time tracking, approvals, reports and invoicing in one workspace — on the web and the desktop — with every person seeing exactly what their role allows.
Built for teams that bill, plan and manage by the hour
Everything in one workspace
Twelve modules that share the same projects, people and permissions — so nothing gets copied between tools.

Managers review and sign off their team's hours. Approved time locks, so what gets billed is what was agreed.
Who's tracking right now, hours by project, person, client or tag, and trends over any date range.
Turn approved, billable hours into a client invoice in a couple of clicks, then send it as a PDF by email.
How the week flows
The same four steps every week — each handled by the person who should own it.
Run a timer on the web or desktop, add time after the fact, or fill in the weekly timesheet. Every entry can carry a project, task, client and tags.
Native desktop app
For people who track all day, the Windows app keeps the timer one click away — and stays in sync with the web.
Start, switch and stop from the system tray without opening a browser tab.
A small always-on-top readout of the running timer that stays out of your way.
Step away and WorkStream notices — then asks whether to keep or discard the idle time.
25-minute focus blocks with short and long breaks, right next to the timer.
Off by default. When a workspace turns them on, the app captures at the interval it sets while you're signed in.
New versions are announced in the app and install without admin rights or a restart hunt.
Roles & visibility
Pick a role when you invite someone. What they can see and do follows automatically — nobody has to remember to hide anything.
Full control
Everything in the workspace, plus the permission matrix, billing and settings.
Runs the business
Every project and person. Invites the team, sets rates, approves time and invoices.
Runs a team
Their own work plus everyone who reports to them. Approves their team's timesheets.
Runs a cohort
Manager-level view of the trainees who report to them, tuned separately in permissions.
Does the work
Tracks and submits their own time, on the projects they've been added to.

Training Managers start with Manager access. The Owner can fine-tune every role in the permission matrix.
Getting started
Steps one to three are one-time setup. After that, only tracking and approving repeat.
Sign up and name it. You're the Owner.
By email, each with a role that decides what they see.
Add clients and projects, and assign who works on what.
Timers on web or desktop, or fill in the timesheet later.
Managers sign off their team's week, and it locks.
Approved billable hours become client invoices.
Control & security
Keep data clean, keep history honest and keep new devices out until you say so.
Fine-tune what Admins, Managers, Training Managers and Members can see and do.
Authenticator-app codes on top of passwords for anyone who wants the extra lock.
Approved periods lock automatically after the days you choose, so history can't drift.
New desktop installs and browsers can be held until an Admin approves them.
A record of who changed what, and when — for the questions that come up later.
Set hour or money budgets per project and get notified as they approach the limit.
Send invites, reports and invoices through your own SMTP, with editable email templates.
Require a project, task, tag or description on entries, or switch off manual time entry.
Monitoring is something a team should hear about up front, not discover. Here is exactly how it works.
An Owner or Admin enables screenshots for the workspace and picks the interval.
Captures come only from the signed-in desktop app, at the workspace's interval — never from the web app.
Each capture is shrunk on the device. Shots taken while a timer runs are linked to that time entry.
You always see your own. The Owner sees everyone's; Admins see only shots from tracked time. Managers don't.
